অম্লাতঙ্ক বইটা পড়ে রীতিমত বেশ কয়েকদিন একটা ঘোরের মধ্যে ছিলাম। সত্যিই মনে আতঙ্কের সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল। বইটিতে গায়ে কাঁটা দেওয়া যা কয়েকটা গল্প আছে তাতে আমার মনে হয় পাঠকের মনে ছাপ পড়বেই। পাঠকের সামনে সমাজের এই জঘন্য সত্যের মুখোশ টেনে খুলে আনতে সক্ষম হয়েছেন লেখকেরা। কোনও কোনও গল্প নতুন করে বাঁচার আশ্বাস দেয়। সমাজের একটা অত্যন্ত কড়া বাস্তবের সম্মুখীন হতে হলে পড়ুন অম্লাতঙ্ক।
এই বইটি পড়ে ভীষণ অস্বস্তি আর নীরব ভারাক্রান্ত অনুভূতি নিয়ে বসে ছিলাম। অ্যাসিড এখানে শুধু অস্ত্র নয়, সমাজের নগ্ন মুখোশ। কোথাও ভস্ম থেকে উঠে দাঁড়ানোর শক্তি, কোথাও নিঃশেষ হয়ে যাওয়া আত্মা- এই দ্বন্দ্ব আমাকে ভিতর থেকে নাড়া দিয়েছে। পড়া শেষ হলেও ক্ষতটা মনে থেকে যায়।
